Hi Brad,

<snip>
That's why I was hoping there was a table out there
somewhere.

The list of supported CCSIDs (at V5R2) can be found here: http://www-03.ibm.com/servers/eserver/iseries/software/globalization/ccsid_list.html

Simply click on a CCSID and it will tell you the code page(s) is it derived from.

You can check out the parent page to get more info on CCSIDs. It is here: http://www-03.ibm.com/servers/eserver/iseries/software/globalization/ccsid.html

This is a good page to bookmark as it also defines all of the control codes and their HEX values. It shows things like EBCDIC Carriage Return Line Feed is X'0D25' but on an IBM PC it is X'0D0A'. So, this is a good place to go to refresh your memory when you forget these things.

Cheers

Larry Ducie
