I'm not thrilled myself, but since an EXSR doesn't push the return

location onto a stack, at least there shouldn't be any harm in it.

James - I'm baffled.  Why when you have the near perfect solution to your
problem (MONITOR) why use a hack?  Why even contemplate outmoded techniques
like GO TO when you don't have to?
