There's nothing non-native or non-idiomatic about the monitor opcode...it's
just new. Well, not really new either...it's just not V4R5 old.

Why does IBM insist on calling something RPG when it is
clearly not? If they had any sense, they'd have called
"RPG-FREE" something else just to avoid RPG's reputation
as an obscure and old-fashioned language.

Thanks, and I don't mean to be snappish, but I was looking
for NATIVE, IDIOMATIC RPG. Preferably using either an
error indicator or an (E) extender.
