Hello Everyone,
Just recently, I have encountered a pecuiliar problem in the RPGLE program that has been running fine for almost a year.

Here is the problem.

I have a data area data structure which has two sub fields. In the *INZSR I do IN operation to get the data in from data area into the subfields. And I use the values loaded into this sub fields in my program. This program is run in batch mode to process the data as and when the data comes in from another system. This program has calls to sub procedures which have several calls to Java classes. The problem is ... one of the data structure sub fields value gets changed automatically to some arbitrary value with out having to do anything the program. I know this seems to be strage. Yes, this is very strange and I have been breaking my head over this. Could any body have any insights to this problem... Does have to do anything with Java calls... JVM, Memory overlaps etc. Any help regarding this would be greatly appreciated... We are running on V5R3
Thank you !!!

VENKAT REDDY
