Hi,

if embedded SQL would be an option, just use the SQL Scalar Function CEILING or CEIL

C/EXEC SQL Set :MyWholeNbr = Ceiling(:TotalQty / :NbrPack)
C/End-Exec

Mit freunlichen Grüßen / Best regards

Subject: Whole numbers calc

HI,
I have to calculate number of cartons based on Qty and case pack per model.

So it is a simple divide.

Just suppose there is some occurance where it would not be a whole number.

So I would like to round up in that case, and give me another carton. What
is the technique for this in RPG ILE?

THanks,
Steve
