Would anyone be able provide a good example of a simple RPG II programthat acts like a subfile with record selection?
I would rather cut off my own head with a rusty spoon. There's no secret; set up a series of arrays and use SETLL/READ to populate them.
Page changes are always the worst. If the data changes often, page up then down _should_ result in a different display (because more items may have been added or some removed from that series.) Your RPG may not have READP; in that case, ditch the whole page up/down in favour of a positioner (partial key list) at the top of the display.
Good luck. --buck
