You use an ellipse to specify a name that's longer than the area in the D
specs:

D GetMoreWCSRecords...
D                               S               N

BOY! That's frustrating... I know I tried it that way. Must have been
something else wrong with my line at the time.

Ok, let's adjust the question just a bit... I have seen code in messages
that is followed by the ellipse. What is actually happening with that?

Thanks,

Dave

You don't use any type of continuation marker...
It's simply
0344.00          IF %Scan (Dsdest : 'BCM') > 0 and Metro = 'N'
0345.00                or dsdest = 'Z';

Thanks,

Not a question I really WANT to ask...but, I want a two line IF
statement. I'm ok if I can get it all on one line, but when I split it
there's no go.

I have tried ending with a '+', and with blank, and with '...'. Nuttin'
works.

Here's the line I'm trying to work with:

0344.00          IF %Scan (Dsdest : 'BCM') > 0 and Metro = 'N'...
0345.00                or dsdest = 'Z';

This, showing my last attempt, with the ellipse...

Please be gentle... :-(

Dave
