This actually sounds like it would work. You're using the system to provide a way to store your changes. Other than the obvious issue of locking all those records, this sounds like a reasonable way to do things. Joe
From: Michael Ryan I wonder if the same conditio could be realized using committment control? Pass through the file, update the fields in the file, re-read from the beginning, and then rollback the changes.
