ODCDAT & ODUDAT are character fields in outfile from DSPOBJD
command...they would have to be converted to dates....again this is not
the list this should be on you'll likely get a faster resolution on the
midrange-l list...

Just looking at the query...  you are missing one left parenthesis.

Select * from filename where (Current date - ODCDAT) > 2 months and
(Current date - ODUDAT) > 2 months or ODUDAT = blanks) <<-- you don't
have
a left one to match.

Select * from filename where (Current date - ODCDAT) > 2 months and
-->> ((Current date - ODUDAT) > 2 months or ODUDAT = blanks)

Also, how are the fields defined in the file.  To me it appears that you
are comparing Today's date (A date value) to an alpha field.
