Try this setup.
d CR c X'0D' d arr s 1a dim(3000)
    c     CR            scan      char          arr
This should fill the array with every position of hex '0D' in the CHAR field.

Here is my problem;

We have a 3000 long character field populated from Lotus Notes via DECS.

I need to find all instances of a carriage return ( hex value X'0D I think)
so I can display the field on both green screen and printouts to suppliers.

I can only find instances of single values character to hex conversions on
the archive.

Is something like this possible:

D           DS
D Char                  3000A
D  HexChar        3000B

Or other solutions gratefully received.
