The solution is to simply do the following in the prototype.

d datcvt2...
d                   pr              ExtProc('datcvt2')

Now you can have a lower case name in the binder. 

Also, recommendation. If you are exporting a function from a service
program, a good suggestion is to prefix the function name with four
characters from service program name. 

For example

XVIFSX

IFSX_OpenText

XVPARS

PARS_LoadString

Etc. 

This way you don't end up running to conflicts with other service
programs that might have the same name and when you see the name in a
program you know instantly that it is an exported procedure and the name
of the service program. 

Anyway, just a suggestion.
