Re: Getting a file to excel using XML

another way ( requires Excel 2003)  :(

1. create spreed sheet using Excel with all the formating you need..
2. safe as XML.
3. upload to Qtxtsrc breaking in to two parts (members).
   a. first part is to first data row.
   b. last part is from after last data row to end of file.
4. RPG program read and writes first part (member) to IFS.
5. program writes data rows to IFS using Excel XML as guide.
6. program  reads and writes last part of step 3.

Open file with Excel.
