It could be optimization is something other than *NONE when you compiled the module. OK I have a program which passes many fields, one of which is an indicator. In debug I can step through & the indicator is set to *ON (which is correct in this case) but when I return to the calling program all variables are set as they should be with the exception of the indicator field. Even though the service program turns on the indicator, the calling program parm indicator stays off... Any suggestions as to what might be happening??
