RE: Date problem

I need to convert this act_date back to a regular 6 00.


If %Dec won't work for you (requires V5R3+) then one option is to use
%Int(%Char(realDateField: *YMD0)) - this requires V5R2+.  If you need to go
lower than V5R2 then use a C function with %char or simply use a DS that
redefines the a char version as numeric. E.g:

D numDate              6S  0
D charDate             6A     Overlay(numDate)

charDate = %Char(realDateField: *YMD0);

// numDate can now be used.
