RE: cannot find printer file defined field

Is the program/module you try to compile doing a write on the record
format where PRTTXTAMT is declares?  
If the record format is not being used by the RPG program, fields in the
record format will not be included in the program.

I have an F spec declared in a test program that I need to bind a
service program to and may have things out of order.

When I attempt to create the module I get a SL 30 error telling me that
it cannot find field PRTTXTAMT yet it is defined within the printer file
appropriately.

Here is a part of the RPG source:

Do I need to move the F spec below the prototype declaration?



If you bought it, it was hauled by a truck - somewhere, sometime.
