I agree completely Rob. I write in RPG, CL, VB, C and Java. Probably in that
order of frequency too. And I can do anything I want in any language that
supports the feature. Of course, I don't use a language that doesn't do what
I need it to do. Never try to teach a pig to sing. It wastes your time and
annoys the pig.

I doubt if it will be enhanced any further in 10 years, but it will still
be
around. A compiler written today will still work in 10 years.
