I agree completely Rob. I write in RPG, CL, VB, C and Java. Probably in that order of frequency too. And I can do anything I want in any language that supports the feature. Of course, I don't use a language that doesn't do what I need it to do. Never try to teach a pig to sing. It wastes your time and annoys the pig. On 5/26/06, rob@xxxxxxxxx <rob@xxxxxxxxx> wrote:
You know Michael, would you have expected all the enhancements we HAVE seen? Lots of fantastic enhancements lately. Granted, there's a few pundits on this list that feel that since it doesn't support this one obscure requirement that they have that it is a worthless utility. They're probably as much fun to work for as the people on this list that try to get me to write programs for them for free by insinuating that if I was a "real man"... There's better ways to ask. A compiler written today will still work in 10 years. On 5/26/06, steema@xxxxxxxxxxxxx <steema@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > > HI - This is a Friday topic.
