Re: Supress All Zeros in Zero Fields

I have a display file with numeric fields defined as 7,2 (EDTCDE 1)


Edit code 1 means display a zero value (and use decimal separators but no
trailing sign), while edit code 2 means suppress a zero value (but still use
decimal separators but no trailing sign).

So just switch to edit code 2 instead.  Many other edit codes are available
depending on your desire for decimal separators, trailing minus sign or CR,
leading minus sign, etc.  Refer to the DDS manual (or a RPG manual).
