Re: PSHBTNFLD with *GUTTER

I found this in one our production programs

On a side note, just something interesting I found out a long time ago on a
5250, you can make F3=Exit a button without extra programming... it's a
setting with client access. Under, Edit --> Preferences --> Hotspots,  put
a check mark on 3-D buttons after checking the your perferred options above
it.

When you click on a 3-D button it returns control back to the program
indicating that you pushed that button.  I wonder though if it works with
programs that are designed to check for hex value x'33' as the key pressed.
I haven't tried it this way, but I just thought it was interesting.

I've been assigned a project where I need to create a 5250 app that is as
mouse friendly as possible. One of the things I incorporated is the
PSHBTNFLD keyword for command keys. Since the default width is 3 spaces
between each command key choice, I'd like to reduce this value to two, but
cannot get the syntax correct.

There is limited talk about this via google. Anyone ever use the *GUTTER
parameter with PSHBTNFLD keyword and get it to work?
