Re: Moving negative numeric value to character field

Obvious answer.

EditC allows you to chose a predetermined format.
EditW allows you to format a number that isn't predetermined for example a
phone number.
Char converts number to a character string.

Could knowing people shed light on the differences between %char,
%editw, & %editc?  Is there a preference?  Is there different behavior?
  Is %char a subset of %editc(fld: 'J')?
