Lim, Thanks, I figured I could rig something up using multiple data structures. I've not tested it, but while I assume it would work I don't think it would fit the definition of "Easy" originally asked for. In addition, I'm not sure it would work if myNumFld was defined as 10p2 and the char value I wanted to see was '12.25-'. Again, not a big deal, in this I've gotten rid of the DS altogether, I just wondered if there was an "easy" way for future reference.
