I've created a date control file that controls my queries. Only one
record. It has the current month, current fiscal month and year, and
some other data. I include it in my queries with or without a join
depending on the situation, then select on the relevant field (or just
use the join). That way I don't have to change hundreds of queries every
month, just one file and actually, there is an automatic procedure that
does that.
