/include and /copy currently mean the same thing. There was a time they didn't. The !only! reason for the existence of /include was to get the SQL precompiler to ignore it. Previous versions of the SQL precompiler had issues with nested copies. So, in order to allow you to use nested copies the RPG people came out with /include. The SQL precompiler people were told to ignore it, and just pass it on to the RPG compiler. Since V5R3 the SQL precompiler was cleaned up tremendously (although it still has a little way to go).
