It's case sensitive if it's in quotes...make it call 'QCMDEXC', or better
yet, make it a prototyped external program call, like this:


 *   QCMDEXC prototype
D Qcmdexc         PR                  ExtPgm('QCMDEXC')
D                              512A   Options(*VarSize)
D                               15P 5 Const

Then you can do this:

C                   CallP     QCmdExc(Cmd:CmdLen)

or in free format:

QCmdExc(Cmd:CmdLen)
