Hi, C/EXEC SQL Set Option SrtSeq = *LangIdShr C/END-EXEC will do the job. But be aware, it change the sort sequence for ALL embedded SQL-Statements in the source member and if you try to select character fields indexes may not be found! Marz 2006 22:51 An: rpg400-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx Betreff: Seq of alpha HI I wrote a subfile program to list names and addresses using SQL embedded to allow the user to select the sequence of fields. This is showing a word in lowercase, so that the name zebra is displayed before Apple. Is there a way to rectify this ? -- This is the RPG programming on the AS400 / iSeries (RPG400-L) mailing list To post a message email: RPG400-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/rpg400-l or email: RPG400-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/rpg400-l.
