Hi,

C/EXEC SQL  Set Option SrtSeq = *LangIdShr
C/END-EXEC

will do the job.
But be aware, it change the sort sequence for ALL embedded SQL-Statements in
the source member and if you try to select character fields indexes may not
be found!

HI I wrote a subfile program to list names and addresses using SQL
embedded to allow the user to select the sequence of fields. This is
showing a word in lowercase, so that the name zebra is displayed before
Apple.

Is there a way to rectify this ?
