Uuuhhhh.  That is it.  My test program never do commit, which cause it
to position the pointer to the bof after it hit rolbk, which cause my
extra reade to not taking any effect.

1 - From the online help for RPGLE available in WDSC regarding ROLBK:
Repositions the file to its position at the time of the previous COMMIT
operation (or at the time of the file OPEN, if there has been no
previous COMMIT operation.) So, unless you are doing a COMMIT or ROLBK
after each record it could be going back several rows.
