Hmm ...
Am badly stuck up with this error ... "I/O error CPF5264 was detected in
file F57II6."
Not at all able to enter into the RPGILE program.

Hello Gauri,

What you are doing is combining an OPM CL program with an ILE RPG program.
That is a recipe for problems. You could try to find out under which
conditions they might work together, but it is probably quicker to make
both either OPM or ILE. To make your CL program ILE: change member type to
CLLE and compile with DFTACTGRP(*NO).

The error from CPYFRMQRYF suggests that the OPNQRYF is not executing
properly. I should expect messages in the joblog about that.

Hello Joep,

I am not very well aware with the activation groups. Can you please tell
me
where should I specify OVRSCOPE(*JOB) ?
Well, I am compiling the CL with normal 14 option .. whereas using CRTPGM
command with param ACTGRP(*CALLER) for RPGILE.

Another thing is, I usaually use CPYFRMQRYF command to check out whether
the
OPNQRYF has been executed properly or not. In this case, I am getting the
error as "Open-identifier for FROMOPNID is not valid" when I try to run
CPYFRMQRYF after exec of OPNQRYF stmt.

Hi Gauri,

Ignore the message about QAQQINI, it has nothing to do with your problem.
Most likely cause is that CL and RPG are running in different activation
groups. You could use OVRSCOPE(*JOB) for the override to quickly solve the
problem, but you should make sure both programs run in the same activation
group.

I am not able to execute my OPNQRYF statement properly in my program.
So the file read in RPG is the entire file and not the one with selected
records.

The JobLog is as below:
