Unless you have to send binary data or large CDATA structures (neither one of which should be sent via XML), then generating XML is about as difficult as creating a comma delimited file. Varying field and the %trim BIF are your friend. And if your data is a little hinky (that is, has non-alphameric characters such as angle brackets and apostrophes), you might want to use %scan and %subst.
