(...flame comment omitted...) but me, I'd recommend converting the program to RPGLE. See the command CVTRPGSRC. The first program this one person here converted was only so that he could get a larger record format than RPG III supported and was required by a certain financial transaction we send out electronically. When we got our first AS/400 it had a bug with the RPG compiler. It only allowed 1 file per program regardless of disk, printer, etc. At first I thought that was a rather harsh implementation forcing us to some very strict modular programming rules. Then I sobered up, realized it must be a bug, downloaded a ptf and got on from there. I think that was the very first ptf I downloaded. Rob Berendt
