Andy,

The CRTSQLRPGI command has a parameter to create the module. CRTSQLRPI
OBJ(OBJLIB/MODULENAME) SRCFILE(SRCFILELIB/SOURCEFILE) SRCMBR(SRCMEMBER)
OBJTYPE(*MODULE). I prefer to add the modules to a binding directory and use
that to bind modules to programs.

Subject: Newbie question on Embedded SQL in a NOMAIN RPG Module and
bindinginto a program

I've never embedded SQL into a NOMAIN module before and am wondering what
steps you need to create the module and anything different when you bind the

module to programs.

I'm sure you have to use the 'Create SQL ILE RPG Object (CRTSQLRPGI)'. Any
special options should be using on the command? Then after that is it just a

simple CRTRPGMOD and then CRTPGM?

Thanks
