I have single choice field on a 5250 data entry screen. I change the initial select value programmatically prior to presenting the screen, and the radio button correctly shows the selection. However, whenever the field 'gets focus', the cursor moves to the first selection and changes its text to reverse image. This incorrectly indicates to the user that the first item is being selected, even though a different radio button shows the correct selection. Question #1: Is there a way to position the cursor at the pre-selected choice? If so, how? Question #2: Is it possible to have the tab key move the cursor to the next 'choice' selection? If so, how? I know I can do this without using a 'SngChcFld', but I am hoping I am just missing some attribute or keyword. TIA Tim Kredlo
