Usually you would use the application for the file to process the file, not the VARPG program itself. If you want to view an image, you would want to open your image application instead of the file itself, unless you prefer to use the VARPG image viewer part.
You can use the Windows Open dialog box to open, save, delete any of the files you can see/process with your Windows network logon.
