Define an O spec with record format name and the fields you wish to update
as follows:
otaplmsrr e chgrec
o tastat
o taatp1
o taatp2
o taatp3
o tadate
o tamicf
o tarfdt
o tareco
o tarol#
in your code:
c except chgrec
that will only output the fields defined on the o-spec.

the changed fields without updating the entire record.
