Encryption and digital signatures -- RPG400-L

I was asked in a hallway meeting if the AS400 can do encryption and
digital signatures.   I said SURE I've been reading about them for
years.  Now I need to find some examples.  I found xTools for encryption
is there anything out there for digital signatures?  I may need to send
files to customers/vendors with either encryption and/or digital
signatures.
