We are starting to receive the above error intermittently also. We have been
using ILE programs (without service programs) for some time and running them
in the default activation group.  This seems to have worked fine until we
started using service programs.

Now that we are using service programs this has changed.  The *new/*caller
option seems to be working, except it is difficult to decide on what
programs are *new since we have many calling patterns.  Is there a problem
(except for performance) with a *new program calling another *new program.
Each of these may also be calling *caller programs.

Because of override issues we have been compiling the service programs as
*caller
