Thanks, is there any user friendly technical documentation for HTTPAPI? Thanks -----Original Message----- From: rpg400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:rpg400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Brad Stone Sent: Monday, November 21, 2005 9:12 AM To: RPG programming on the AS400 / iSeries Subject: Re: using HTTPAPI from RPG I'm sure quite a few do. It is popular and well supported by Scott (he even has a mailing list for it). I have my GETURI utility (similar to the HTTPAPI) in production at a couple thousand plants and it's working great as well. I've found, as I'm sure Scott has, that configuring/setting up SSL is the main issue, and this is not really an issue with software per say. More of an uncharted territory for most iSeries folks. So issues related to SSL/Certificates really wouldn't be something caused by the software, but lack of knowledge on how they are used on the machine itself. Especially if the trading partner is using a certificate that uses a CA that isn't installed by default on the iSeries. Then you either have to learn how to install CAs (which includes retrieving them from your TP) or pay someone to do it. :) Brad www.bvstools.com On Fri, 18 Nov 2005 08:07:06 -0700 "Mohammad Tanveer" <mtanveer@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > Thanks I was wondering if people are using it in > production without any fear > :-) I am going to use/recommend it for Credit Card > Authorization and do not > want to end up with any issues related to > SSL/Certificates etc. > > Thanks > > > -----Original Message----- > From: rpg400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx > [mailto:rpg400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] > On Behalf Of Beppe Costa > Sent: Friday, November 18, 2005 8:01 AM > To: RPG programming on the AS400 / iSeries > Subject: Re: using HTTPAPI from RPG > > It works perfectly. > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Mohammad Tanveer" <mtanveer@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> > To: "'RPG programming on the AS400 / iSeries'" > <rpg400-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> > Sent: Friday, November 18, 2005 3:37 PM > Subject: using HTTPAPI from RPG > > > > > > Has anyone tried https using httpapi from Scotty? > > > > > > > > -- > > This is the RPG programming on the AS400 / iSeries > (RPG400-L) mailing list > > To post a message email: RPG400-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx > > To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, > > visit: > http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/rpg400-l > > or email: RPG400-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx > > Before posting, please take a moment to review the > archives > > at http://archive.midrange.com/rpg400-l. > > > > -- > This is the RPG programming on the AS400 / iSeries > (RPG400-L) mailing list > To post a message email: RPG400-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx > To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, > visit: > http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/rpg400-l > or email: RPG400-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx > Before posting, please take a moment to review the > archives > at http://archive.midrange.com/rpg400-l. > Bradley V.
