Hi,

you do not have to remove and attach the trigger again.
But at compile time, you need exclusive access to the physical file.

That's why it's recommended to use the trigger program as wrapper to call
the "real" trigger program.
Now it's possible to recompile the "real" trigger program, even if someone
has access to the physical file.
If the "old" trigger program is already activated the old version will run
until the activation group ends.

        I searched the archives, but didn't find the exact answer to my
question. If I have a trigger program, PROGA, attached to FILE1, and
make a change to PROGA, will the changes go into effect, or do I have to
remove the trigger then re-attach it to the file?
