Anyone know if it's possible (in V5R1) to create a procedure with
limited visibility in a service program?
I think what you want is to use the EXPORT keyword but do not put the subprocedure in the binder source (and compile with export(*srcfile). That should make it visible to other modules in the srvpgm but not visible to pgms/srvpgms that bind it.
