If the SQL update is done via cursor, have you compiled to
CLOSQLCSR(*ENDMOD) or set option CLOSQLCSR=*ENDMOD in the program?

Thanks,

Subject: RPG Stored Procedure leaving files locked

Hi,
I have an RPG program defined as a stored procedure. It has one
SQL update and the other files are input full. These files are
remaining locked after the program ends. I have tried to seton LR. I
have put one of the files under USROPN and done an OPEN and CLOSE, and
even put in CLOSE *ALL. I am doing this before the return but
eventually want to trigger it on receiving a code on the last record. I
tried compiling with COMMIT *NONE. Any ideas how to unlock these files?
