Yes, make them "Y" entry fields not "S" in your DSPF dds.

We have some numeric fields (length 7), and if you enter only 6
characters (starting in position 1) & hit enter it gives you the
notorious flashing red "0020".
Is there a way to mask this so it will accept a full 7 characters, or if
entered left justified it will automatically zero-fill position 1?
