If I have a Interactive ILE program that has 5 modules and the 4 modules after the entry module are NOMAIN. Each of the NOMAIN are using data base files for input. If I don't close the files in the NOMAIN they remain open until the job ends. The same would be true for any display files these NOMAIN modules had.
In the case of an interactive job the files would be open until the user signs off.
Suppose I had many interactive ILE programs setup that way and none of the files are being closed in the NOMAIN modules. Also suppose all of the data base files are being used for Input only.
So in the course of a day this would cause a User to have many, many files open.
Say these ILE programs are all using the default activation group. Does it ever become an issue with a User having many Input files open? Thanks Andy
