You can find programs for manipulating validation lists at
http://www.ignite400.org/html/sample_code.htm. The integrated version
includes a program that does about anything you'd want to do with them
and commands so you can manipulate them from the command line.

If i remember correctly, it is exactly what your are looking for.

there was some source at easy400 web site, but it is closed now.
take a look at Easy400Group.
