Hi
I have a subfile. Fields are 'Option' and 'User-ID'. In the Control also I
have the same fields. Now my question is about positioning cursor in the
subfile. User can enter User-id in the control for 'Position-to'. I am using
SFLRCDNBR to do that and that is fine. After positioning, if I just press Page
Up or Page down, and then press ENTER, the list is going back to the 'User_iD'
it was positioned to last time. I know why it is doing that. But I don't want
this to happen. I want the list not to change the page with just pressing
ENTER.

I also though of using SFLCSRRRN, but since the screen also has input fields in
Control, and the cursor stays on control field every time I do EXFMT, it is not
going to return the RRN of the first record. To do that each time I have to
position the cursor to the first subfile record, WRITE the screen, get the RRN,
and then again move the cursor back to Control and then EXFMT. But this way of
doing this will make my program very complex since I also have validation
checks on Control and Subfile fields and if there is any input-error, I am
already positioning cursor there.

Please help.

Thanks
Amitava
