Jerry,I'm thinking that your dump may be misleading you. That is, you're getting the error on a SETLL, but the data isn't read in until you do a READ. At least, that's what I always thought. If true, you're dump's values would be from the previous record (actually read) or the initial values.
Cozzi would know for sure. Jerry C. Adams GKern@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx wrote:
Thanks Ron.The data here is from a data queue. I suppose it could get hosed somehow, but the contents of the dump show data that I would normally expect to see. I'm thinking more in terms of an error of a different nature and the job spitting out a misleading error message. When it happened previously I just left it as a one time thing. Now that it's happened twice I think there is more to this than meets the eye.Maybe our upgrade to V5R3 this weekend may affect this differently in the upcoming weeks.Regards, Jerry Gerald Kern IBM Certified AS/400 RPG IV Developer & RPG IV Programmer MIS Project Leader, Lotus Notes/Domino Administrator The Toledo Clinic, Inc. 4235 Secor Road Toledo, OH 43623-4299 Phone 419-479-5535 gkern@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ***** This email message, including any attachments, is for the sole use of the intended recipient(s) and may contain confidential and privileged information.
