Hi All,

Here's a problem that may turn out to be something simple.

I have a line in my DDS:

A ITOTAL 5S 0O 8 50EDTCDE(N)

When I compile the DDS, I get the error "Keyword not valid with data
type or keyboard shift value."

In my RPG code, I have the ITOTAL field defined as a standalone, 5S 0
field as well.

I understand that you cannot assign an edit code to a signed variable if
it is in the DDS but not referenced, so how do I get around this issue
and format the field so that it suppress leading zeros and show a
negative sign if one is required?

Thanks,

Brian.
