Really didn't know the terminology, but what I tried to say was that I
wanted to perform multiple counts within one Select. I was trying to
simplify some code that I had done already with SQL in an attempt to see
if the performance would be better.

We have to try some new things every now and then just to confuse our
customers...now what did you mean about us trying something new!!!

Just kidding Tommy...Have a nice day.

Subject: SQL Counts

Does anyone know if it is possible to perform multiple counts within one
/EXEC SQL group? If it is possible, does someone have an example they
would share with me?

See example of single select below:

C/EXEC SQL

C+ SELECT COUNT(*) INTO:RECORDS FROM CKEMPLLA WHERE EEAC01='Y'

C/END-EXEC

TIA
