Beppe's code shows how to get the RNX0301 text into your program. In V5R3, you can also get the exception trace information in an IFS file by using environment variable QIBM_RPG_JAVA_EXCP_TRACE plus some other setup. See the V5R3 version of the "ILE RPG Programmer's Guide".
