Another "good" programming practice is to always fully define your fields/variables. Never code "4 0" always specify the data type. Never code "3 ", always specify "3A" if its alpha. That way you don't have to guess what the numeric data-type default is. -Bob Cozzi www.RPGxTools.com If everything is under control, you are going too slow. - Mario Andretti -----Original Message----- From: rpg400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:rpg400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of RPower@xxxxxxxxxx Sent: Friday, July 08, 2005 11:49 AM To: RPG programming on the AS400 / iSeries Subject: Re: Prototype error You got the prize... I had to fix the name at the end of the procedure as well, but this error was caused by the street#, which is 4P0 off the file, and I had it as 4S0. Sigh, forgive my noobness at this, but I'm trying to get "into" the new stuff. Ron Power Programmer Information Services City Of St. John's, NL P.O.
