excel date

   
 

   Dear all ,

   

   I try to use the jakarta poi class to read an excel spreadsheet , but i    
have encoured in this problem , on the excel sheet i have a cell that is
   fo= rmatted like date , when i read the value from the rpg program whats i
   see = is not the date but the number corresponding .

   

   So have you some idea how can read the formatted value?
