An activation group will be on that list if it was created. It remains on the list until it is destroyed. Named Activation Groups stay on the list when a program is running in them and appear as ACTIVE and IN-USE = YES. Named Activation Groups that have no program running in them, for example, when the program returns to it's call with *INLR = *ON, then the activation group is not in use but still exists until you end the job, call CEETREC from within a program that is running in that named activation group, or do a RCLACTGRP XXXXX where XXXXX is the name of the activation group you want to destroy ("unload"). -Bob Cozzi www.RPGxTools.com If everything is under control, you are going too slow. - Mario Andretti -----Original Message----- From: rpg400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:rpg400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Shijith_Chand Sent: Friday, July 01, 2005 10:43 AM To: rpg400-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: (no subject) Dear all, When I give option 18 in my WRKJOB menu (Display Activation Groups If active) I am seeing all the activation groups that are active in my job In the list that is displayed I see a column (In use Indicator (Yes/No))....Can anybody please tell me what this implies? Means there can be activation groups that are active - but are not In use - I am confused how this is possible If not in use how can they be listed as active?
