Pete, IIRC, when using load-all subfile technique, display management handles rolling up and down through the subfiles and doesn't return control to your program until the user presses ENTER or a function key. Including the ROLLUP/ROLLDOWN DSPF keywords in the DSPF causes display management to return control to your program when the user scrolls past the top or bottom of the subfile. Since the EXFMT isn't in a loop structure, the program simply steps through the remaining operations and ends after *INLR is set on. Reggie Acosta Brown Jordan International www.brownjordan.com
